Advanced Search: Searching the Chemical Field
To search the Chemical field in Advanced Search, preface the chemical symbol
for the substance or material with the CH field tag and an equal sign. Indicate
a role by appending the symbol (/) and the abbreviation for the role after the
chemical symbol (the role is not required).
You may use search operators (AND, OR, NOT, NEAR).

Examples

CH=Cu searches for Cu in any role.

Cu or Y (or both Cu and Y) as a surface or substrate.

Cu and Y as a surface or substrate.

CH=(Si/int AND H/dop) searches for records in which Si (as
an interface system) and H (as a dopant) are both in the Chemical Indexing
field.
