Searching the Author Field

Enter the family name followed by the given name and/or initials in Cyrillic or Latin script.

All author names provided by the source publication are included, and they are searchable.

Батурина, Г.С. finds Батурина, Г.С.
Батурина finds Батурина, Г.С.; Батурина, М.А.; Батурина,Ольга Владимировна and other names in which Батурина is the surname.
Малолетко, Алексей Михайлович finds Малолетко, Алексей Михайлович
Tarasov, A.V. finds Tarasov, A.V.
Tarasov, A* finds Tarasov, A.G.; Tarasov, A.V.; Tarasov, Alexander Evgenievich; Tarasov, Andrey Vyacheslavovich

Separate two or more names by the search operators AND, OR, and NOT.

Панарин AND Ильин finds records of articles authored by both Панарин and Ильин.
Панарин OR Ильин finds records of articles authored by either Панарин and Ильин (or both Панарин and Ильин).
Панарин NOT Ильин finds records of articles in which Панарин appears but not Ильин.
Panarin AND Ilyin finds records of articles authored by both Panarin and Ilyin.
Panarin OR Ilyin finds records of articles authored by either Panarin or Ilyin (or both Panarin and Ilyin).
Panarin NOT Ilyin finds records of articles in which Panarin appears but not Ilyin.

If you want to search for a Russian name and an English name in a single search:

Enter one of the names in the search box. Select Author as the search field.
Click Add another field. Enter the other name in the search box. Select Author as the search field.
Select the appropriate operator (AND, OR, NOT) from the menu of operators.
Click Search.

As an alternative, go to Advanced Search and enter a query that prefaces each name with the field tag AU. For example: AU=Tarasov OR AU=Рахманов
